About Nosco
What is Nosco?
Nosco is a leading innovation management platform that helps mid-to-large enterprises manage end-to-end innovation pipelines - from idea capture and evaluation to portfolio reporting. We're also a consultancy, so customers get software and hands-on expertise in one.
Where is Nosco based?
Nosco is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Who uses Nosco?
Nosco is used by mid-to-large enterprises with 500 to 100,000+ employees that need a structured, scalable way to manage innovation across R&D, product development, AI and digital transformation, operations, and sustainability.
Typical users include innovation leaders, R&D and product leaders, transformation teams, operational excellence teams, and executives who need transparency into pipelines and portfolios.
What companies use Nosco?
Nosco customers include leaders in their fields, such as Danfoss, Linde, Merck, Ramboll, Coloplast, and Raiffeisen. Customers span industries including industrial manufacturing, life sciences, engineering services, energy, medical devices, and financial services.
What makes Nosco different from other innovation management platforms?
Nosco combines flexibility, enterprise-grade functionality, and innovation expertise in three specific ways:
- A configurable platform. Pipelines, forms, workflows, and portfolio views adapt to your processes – without code.
- Purpose-built support for innovation pipelines and portfolios. Stage-gates, evaluation logic, and portfolio analytics are core, not bolted on.
- Direct access to innovation experts. Nosco is both a software company and a consultancy. Customers work with practitioners who have run innovation programs themselves.
How Nosco works
Is Nosco only for innovation teams?
Nosco supports multiple innovation pipelines across an organisation in a single platform. Typical use cases include:
- Innovation challenges and idea campaigns
- R&D idea pipelines
- Product development pipelines
- AI and digital transformation pipelines
- Continuous improvement pipelines
- Research grants management
- Open innovation challenges with external partners (customers, suppliers, universities, startups)
Administrators can configure submission forms, stage-gate processes and evaluations, pipeline and portfolio overviews (Kanban, swimlanes, XY bubble charts), and integrations and automations (SSO, Power BI, Power Automate, and more) directly in the platform - no code required.
How does Nosco use AI?
Nosco uses AI to accelerate specific parts of the innovation workflow. Today, AI in the Nosco platform supports:
- Idea articulation and refinement, helping submitters strengthen their proposals
- Intelligent search and discovery across pipelines and portfolios
- Evaluator feedback consolidation, turning multiple comments into clear summaries
- Administrative and workflow configuration
AI enhances the innovation process. It does not replace human judgment, governance, or accountability – and Nosco does not pretend it does.
How fast can we get started with Nosco?
A first idea campaign or pipeline can typically be live in less than a week from kickoff. Nosco supports rapid time-to-value through an intuitive interface that requires minimal training, best-practice templates for common innovation use cases, and implementation guidance from experienced innovation practitioners. Teams can start with a single use case and expand at their own pace.
Does Nosco scale across large enterprises?
Yes. A single Nosco tenant supports global enterprise deployments with tens of thousands of active users, multiple business units and geographies, internal and external collaboration, and portfolio-level reporting for leadership. Customers do not re-platform as they grow.
What does Nosco integrate with?
Nosco integrates with enterprise infrastructure, including:
- Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Entra ID for single sign-on (SSO) and user provisioning (SCIM)
- AI assistants via Model Context Protocol (MCP), including Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic Claude
- Microsoft Power BI for advanced analytics
- Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation
- A documented REST API (OpenAPI / Swagger) for custom integrations

This means information security controls, governance, and operational processes are independently verified against recognised international standards.
Detailed security documentation – including controls, sub-processors, and architecture – is available on request under NDA for procurement and security review teams.
Is Nosco GDPR-compliant and where is Nosco customer data stored?
Yes. Nosco is GDPR-compliant. The Nosco platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the EU region. Data Processing Agreements are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Data residency, retention, and deletion policies are documented and contractually committed.
